Hong Kong choreographer and dancer Kenny Leung holds a Master’s degree in Contemporary Dance Performance from TNUA and graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. A keen explorer of infinite possibilities of dance and physical movements, Kenny has been commissioned by Hong Kong Arts Festival, West Kowloon Cultural District, and other art organisations. He has also worked with a number of Hong Kong and international choreographers and performed extensively in arts festivals across the world.

 

Kenny founded the company COMMON GROUND with a focus on cross-disciplinary artistic productions in 2021. He has received the Hong Kong Outstanding Young Dance Artist Award and Tom Brown Emerging Choreographer Award. His work Imagined Altar also won the Hong Kong Dance Award 2025 for Outstanding Small Venue Production. He was also the recipient of the WestK Arts Impact Fellowship 2024.
