Hong Kong independent choreographer and dancer Kenny Leung holds a Master’s degree in Contemporary Dance Performance from the Taipei National University of the Arts and studied in the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. A keen explorer of infinite possibilities of performance and physical movements, he has been commissioned by Hong Kong Arts Festival, West Kowloon Cultural District, and other art organisations. He has also worked with a number of Hong Kong and international choreographers and performed extensively in arts festivals across the world.

 

Kenny founded his company COMMON GROUND with a focus on cross-disciplinary artistic productions in 2021. His work Imagined Altar won the Hong Kong Dance Award 2025 for Outstanding Small Venue Production. He is also the recipient of the WestK Arts Impact Fellowship 2024.
